Our client is a publicly traded Financial Software organization. With a number of high-profile clients, software that automates regulated processes, and a team of high-performance players, they are ready to hire an account manager in Chicago.

This role requires the ability to establish relationships with identified decision makers, learn more about how their business works, and recommend appropriate solutions. Sales Activities: Account Management

  • Partner with existing Midwest clients to develop and expand new and existing business
  • Develop interest in new products in a portfolio of Enterprise level accounts who are happy and excited about your company
  • Build deep relationships across multiple branches, departments, LOBs to achieve sales objectives within portfolio of accounts
  • Manage and develop strategic trusted advisor relationships, monitor account progress, and ensure overall client care and continued satisfaction
  • Navigate through highly matrixed global accounts to influence technology procurement and deliver value
  • Must be able to work at home with little day-to-day supervision

Requirements

  • 2+ years of current experience selling into Enterprise level clients
  • Financial software sales experience a plus, or other business application software sold to the LOB rather than IT highly desired
  • 5+ years of software sales experience
  • Experience developing accounts
  • Track record of sales success, history of above average performance
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision from your remote, “virtual" home office (home-office expenses paid)
  • BA/BS required, strong GPAs, majors in accounting or finance encourage to apply

Compensation

80K-90K base, 170-180K OTE
