They use cutting edge technology, software, and complex algorithms, to mine data, provide custom analytics, and actionable insights for telecom clients. The Sales Role
You will call on the telecom vertical and work the full sales cycle from prospecting to close with the help of a rock start technical team for sales support. The main priority of this role is to hunt and win new business and bring new opportunities to the organization.
Deal cycles are lengthy and complex often taking six to twelve months. A relentless and persistent nature is necessary to fill the pipeline and patience is mandatory to see the sales cycle through completion. Strong emphasis on this role is opening doors and winning new business.
Long term trajectory for this role from a career perspective is potential leadership and management of the entire sales function as it’s built out over time. Average employee tenure is more than ten years. (If you’re into big company politics, have an aversion for family run businesses, or you’d rather be in sales meetings than generating new opportunities-- this is NOT the role for you.)
- 5 +years of telecom industry experience required
- 3+ years of software/services sales experience preferred
- Track record of sales success winning NEW business
- Passion for business development, opening new opportunities, and perpetual learning
- Desire to make an impact for your employer, your career, and your customers
- Travel up to 35%
- BA/BS degree
Compensation 100K-120K base + commission
First year OTE 140K-150K; Second year 160K-200K
Depending on performance, experience, and more.
